Speech-language therapy involves the diagnosis, treatment, and management of speech, language, and swallowing problems.

- eating, swallowing or communication problems due to stroke, cancer, head injury or progressive neurological disorders (such as Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis)
- paediatric (child) feeding disorders
- voice disorders.
