Child Development

The Child Development Service provides assessment and appropriate treatment of children with developmental conditions, or those at risk of developmental delays. We work with children between the age of 0 and 16. If input is required to access the school curriculum we will see the child until they leave high school.

Referral information

The Child Development Service accepts referrals from health services, education services and community agencies. Parents/caregivers can also refer to our service. The referral must be written with consent and knowledge of the child's parent or caregiver.

Referrals must be in writing, with as much information as possible about the developmental concerns and input required. It is very helpful if a report or any additional information is provided.
