Inspections are highly recommended as it is the buyer’s responsibility to ascertain the suitability of the items to their purposes. For Health & Safety reason bookings are required for all inspections.
The buyer is solely responsible for providing personnel, equipment and material required to collect purchased equipment and the buyer assumes responsibility for the removal of and any costs relating to inspection and removal. This includes any and all risks associated with such equipment removal. The buyer and their contractors must abide by all SCDHB Health & Safety policies. The buyer’s removal plan must be shared with SCDHB and any factors identified that could potentially affect the normal functioning of SCDHB must be discussed before work undertaken.
