Health Workforce New Zealand
Postgraduate Nursing Education funding is based on HWNZ Specifications.
The PG study must be accredited by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and/or the Committee on University Academic Programmes (CUAP) and lead to a nationally recognised qualification, at level 8 on the National Qualifications Framework (e.g. PG Certificate, PG Diploma or Master’s degree)
Or be approved by the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) or be able to be credited towards a NCNZ approved programme where it leads to a qualification for nurse practitioner or registered nurse prescribing.
