Some Timaru Hospital staff have recently moved their services from the hospital to the new Community Health Centre in central Timaru.

They are:
Public Health Nurses
Public Health Nursing Administrator
Immunisation Coordinator
Vision Hearing Technician
B4 School Check Coordinator
Youth Health Nurse in Alternate Education Centres
Smokefree Team
Clinical Nurse Specialist Community Cardiology
Clinical Nurse Specialist Community Respiratory
Community Dietician
District Nurses (moved earlier this year)
Meals on Wheels Coordinator (moved earlier this year)

Phone/fax numbers, email addresses, and the private bag postal address will not change.
The new physical address is “South Canterbury DHB, Woollcombe House, 18 Woollcombe Street, Timaru”.
These staff can still be reached by phoning the main Timaru Hospital number on (03) 684 4000, or the person’s direct line/mobile number.
Clients and patients are welcome to visit the new premises on the corner of Woollcombe and Barnard Streets.
