All South Canterbury DHB and Timaru Hospital services are operating normally. The snow is not expected to cause any further disruption.

I would like to thank DHB staff with four-wheel drive vehicles who volunteered to pick up other staff and get them to work.

The District Nurses, Meals on Wheels volunteer drivers, and others who perform essential care in the community have worked hard in the last few days to reach vulnerable patients in snow-affected areas and can be commended for their efforts.
